The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a travel alert for Hungary, Czech Republic, and Iceland due to the growing number of coronavirus infections in those countries.
The CDC raised its travel advisory for these countries on Monday to Level 4, “very high,” and urged U.S. citizens to avoid travel there if possible.
An email recently sent to U.S. citizens by the American Embassy in Hungary also stated that “the U.S. Department of State currently recommends against travel to Hungary.”
