To increase the vaccination rate and help curb the spread of the epidemic, the government plans to launch a “vaccine action week” at designated vaccination points in hospitals from November 22-28, it was announced Thursday on information site koronavirus.gov.hu.

Unvaccinated people will be able to arrive at the vaccination point without prior registration, where they will be registered on the spot and vaccinated in order of arrival. Five types of vaccines will be available at these sites: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen and Sinopharm.

The announcement was made after more than 6,000 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Hungary within a 24 hour period, according to a press release.

You can visit the vaccination points if you want to receive the third dose of the vaccine, or even if you have not been vaccinated at all. Doses will be administered at hospital vaccination points from 22 November.
