New Hungarian-Language Fact-Checking Site to Launch

444 announced the launch of a new Hungarian-language fact-checking site from Magyar Jeti Zrt, the publisher of 444 and Qubit, together with French news agency AFP. The European Commission provided financial support for the site, which will operate independently and provide original content.

The main editor of the new site will be Blanka Zöldi, who has worked for investigative news outlet Direkt36 on stories of international significance, including the Paradise Papers and Pandora Papers. Assisting Zöldi will be Nóra Diószegi-Horváth from Merce, and Eszter Neuberger from 444.
