Steven N.Organizers and police estimated that more than 10,000 people took part in the “I Bike Budapest” bicycle procession on Saturday, said the event’s organizers in a statement.
The purpose of the event was to highlight specific demands for making Hungary’s capital more bicycle-friendly, such as a bus lane on the Chain Bridge that bikes can also use, and bike lanes for Üllői Road and Astoria, said head organizer Áron Halász. [Magyar Hang]
