Two-Thirds of Hungarians Think That Ukraine’s Problems Are Not Their Concern

67% of Hungarians surveyed believe that “the problems of Ukraine are none of our business and we should not interfere,” according to an Ipsos poll of 19,000 adults under the age of 75 in 27 countries.

“While more than four in five in Poland, Sweden, Great Britain, and India agree that their country should support sovereign countries when attacked, only about half in Mexico, Hungary and Brazil do,” writes the polling firm.

In addition, 90% of Hungarians “say their country should avoid getting involved militarily in the conflict,” the highest proportion of the countries surveyed.

Ipsos conducted its poll on its Global Advisor online survey platform between March 25-April 3. [Népszava]
