Anna Orosz, who beat Fidesz’s István Simicskó as an individual candidate in Újbuda, announced on Facebook that she would be accepting her seat in Parliament.
Her party, Momentum, has been saying that they won’t be just a “decorative opposition,” but this doesn’t mean that the candidates who won from their party won’t be accepting their mandates.
Orosz wrote that she would represent Újbuda residents by fighting for green areas and the independence of Újbuda’s municipal government, work to reduce waiting times in hospitals, and make sure there are enough teachers in the district’s nurseries and kindergartens who receive an appropriate salary.
