Péter Márki-Zay has caught coronavirus, the opposition’s joint prime ministerial candidate announced on Facebook yesterday morning.
Last night at ATV’s headquarters, I had my temperature taken before I walked into the studio, and everything was fine. Around dawn, my throat felt a little scratchy, so I took a test. It was positive.
-wrote the opposition leader. Márki-Zay stated that with three vaccines shots working in his body, he only had mild cold symptoms. He has given up all external programs, is quarantining, and continues his work on the campaign from home.
In five days, Péter Márki-Zay will be able to start traveling the country again after he tests negative. In the meantime, the mayor of Hódmezővásárhely asked everyone to take care of themselves and each other with social distancing, wearing a mask, and washing their hands frequently.
Nobody said it would be easy, that there will be no unexpected difficulties or unpredictable problems.
