István Pásztor, the president of the Hungarian Association of Vojvodina (VMSZ), said that 2022 would be an extraordinary year for ethnic Hungarians in the northern Serbian region, as both Serbian and Hungarian Parliamentary elections are going be held next year.

Speaking on a morning program on Hungarian Radio Subotica, Pásztor said that they were preparing for a record number of votes from ethnic Hungarians in the region.
