Magyar Hang has learned that Budapest Mayor Gergely Karácsony plans to attend the UN climate summit currently taking place in Glasgow, Scotland. The mayor will spend two days at the closing of the conference on Friday.

The 26th UN Climate Change Conference began on October 31, with some 200 countries attending. Hungarian President János Áder represented Hungary with a speech last Monday urging action on climate change and touting the country’s efforts in this area.
