EU Paid for Buses That Took Peace Marchers to Hear Orbán’s Anti-EU Speech

444 writes the European Union’s logo was seen on several buses that took people from small villages in Hungary to the Peace March in Budapest on October 23. This indicates that the buses were provided to the village with money from the EU.

Participants in the Peace March were then able to listen to Viktor Orbán’s speech, where the Prime Minister stated that “Brussels treats us and the Polish like you would treat an enemy.” The news site identified buses from the towns of Újudvar, Nyírbéltek, and Kismarja that appear to have been funded from EU money.
