Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced today in a Facebook video that Hungary would be sending 40 ventilators to Romanian hospitals, along with other medical equipment, to help fight the spread of the Coronavirus in that country.
Before travelling to Paris, Szijjártó said that unfortunately Europe is now facing the fourth wave of the virus, and that countries with a low vaccination rate are going to have a hard time of it. He included Romania among these, stating that “equipment would be leaving Ferihegy Airport today with a new shipment” to the country.
“The success of neighboring countries in treating the pandemic will contribute in large part to our own success in treating it as well,” added the foreign minister. [Index]
