Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a speech at Mass on Sunday in the Esztergom Basilica, on the day that Esztergom became a city with country rights, reports news agency MTI.
The Hungarian Premier called the city one of national importance, and that the former capital of the country was the home of every Hungarian, even if they didn’t know it.
“We are here today to restore this city of national importance to its previous rank,” stated Viktor Orbán. [Népszava]
