Miklós Kásler is leaving as the head of the Ministry of Human Resources, and János Lázár may return as a member of Viktor Orbán’s new government, Népszava has learned.
The daily reports that agreements have been reached with the key bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and the Prime Minister’s Office. They report that nearly 74-year-old Sándor Pintér will assume another four years as Minister of Internal Affairs.
Mihály Varga is also expected to remain Minister of Finance, although his portfolio will have fewer functions than before. Likewise, the newspaper reports that it is nearly certain that Gergely Gulyás will remain as Chancellor Minister, heading up the Prime Minister’s Office, in the new government. [Népszava]
