Tímea Szabó, co-chair of Dialogue, posted a picture on social media of what she claims is a Fidesz activist for candidate Balázs Bús openly giving an endorsement signature to the Our Homeland candidate in Óbuda.
Szabó, the united opposition’s candidate in the district, added in her Saturday post that “perhaps the intimate friendship between these far-rightists even goes as far as making copies of their endorsement signature sheets.”
Fidesz has offered assistance to Our Homeland several times over the past few years in order to help weaken the democratic opposition, claims Magyar Hang.
Writing in Magyar Nemzet last week, pro-government booster Zsolt Bayer called on all Fidesz voters to “also support the candidates of the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party, the Our Country Movement, the Workers’ Party-Iszomm Party alliance, and György Gattyán’s political efforts with their signatures.” [Magyar Hang]
